It was good! Believe it or not, I was in bed by 11 each night. Knocked completely out! And it felt sooooo good to get some sleep. It's been about 4 years since I've had a complete night's sleep.
I hung out at the pool a lot. The Flamingo has the best pool!!! Hotel is okay, but the pool rocks!!! And it's in the middle of the strip so I got to watch the Belliago fountains each night from my room.
The wax museum was tons of fun!!! I suggest it to everyone. You can get 2 for 1 coupons after 5pm to save some cash.
I was with the hubby so that's a different vacation than if I had gone with some girlfriends. I'm really looking forward to returning and hitting the clubs with some gal pals!!!! I can see how Vegas could get really wild - most gals are 1/2 naked to start with. We collected a bunch of stripper cards.
The people watching was fun too. Saw many blinged out girls like Alice with older white guys and grandma pushing the stroller behind, so I guess Nic's marriage isn't so uncommon - but Vegas standards aren't exactly everyone's norm. Why people would take their kids to Vegas in 112* heat I don't get. Those kids were miserable!
Overall, a good time, very refreshing and can't wait to go back!!
Yes the Flamingo Pool is very cool. It has a slide and waterfall, I've been to it, its cool. There are a lot of Japanese people that go to Las Vegas. I'm glad you had a nice time there.
