At the moment, Oklahoma City is safe. However, I'm watching the news and there are several cloud formations that are getting rather pointy, and are trying to touch down.

I think we'll be fine. We are a bit paranoid about spring and summer thunderstorms, because for us they usually lead to hail and twisters. Still, I ain't sleepin' naked tonight... gonna keep my clothes on in case I need to make a quick getaway!!

Hope you made out alright Trace, I was watching the news about the storms right in your area. It's been a really freaky season for the weather already this year. I have only 6 more wks to try and get out of Florida before our season of terror starts, and it doesn't look like I'm gonna make it. I find that High anxiety is an easy diet.....lol.

I've decided to make a tornado/storm shelter in my basement with a generator, food, blankets, etc....like when I was a kid, because the sirens are going off constantly here. My kids think it's great and so I thought we could "camp out" during those times...less scary for them. We have space under the garage with no windows and 4 concrete walls - I'll use some of that to hide.

Oh, yeah, we're fine. We only got rain and high winds. Thankfully there were no injuries last night... a house and mobile home in a nearby town were damaged, and some airplane hangars too, but otherwise Oklahoma is OK.

I seen the shots taken of the storms outside of OK City that the helicopter crew caught yest. That's some wild chit!!!! Stay safe you two and keep us posted that ya'll are alright, ok?

Thanks, Cheri. Everything is fine now. The weather is about 35 degrees cooler than it was yesterday, but otherwise things are normal again.
