So here's the deal....


I'm come a long way with the new graphics and format.  Really, I honestly have.  But right now I'm a bit... erm... intimidated.  I still have to finish the Biography, and I've decided that the best course of action is to go with a fun, sexy format (sexy?  Does that even apply to HTML?).  My theory is that any Nic fan can easily go to any site out there and get a cold, factual biography... but OUR site is DIFFERENT!  Ours will be FUN!!  Well, also, I'm just too damn lazy to go through the whole story of his life.  It's just way too long and complex.


Also, Sinclaire and I are playing around with a time table for his filmography, which will feature the year of production (NOT release... since some movies such as "The Weather Man" were actually released a couple of years after they were filmed), box office gross, and a picture of his love interest at the time.  I also want to include a window under the time table that will bring up different trivia facts about the movie (relating to Nic) when you click on each movie on the table.


Movie reviews?  Frankly, I'm considering just scrapping this altogether.  We don't need no stinkin' movie reviews, do we?


For the photo album, I realized that you can create some awesome animated bucket stamps for each of the folders in your album.  I don't know if I want to create one for each and every album (that's a LOT of animation on one page), but maybe put something like this on the homepage:

We could feature a new album every month!!  This one is for "Out and About".  What do you think?  If you don't like any of the ideas I've brought up so far, let me know.

I'm trying to figure out why the link won't show here.  I can cut and paste it when I'm creating the post, and I see it when I preview it, but once it posts, it disappears.  Maybe the message board doesn't support the link.  At any rate, it's pretty cool once you see it.

It still needs some work on the "Bio" section.  Yes, I know... the family tree is wonkier than Paris Hilton's left eye.  And, the links don't work.  But I will be working on that within the next few days.  I also need to update the "News" section, BAD.  I'm hoping all of you can help me with this.  If you have any recent news articles that you want to see on the site, let me know and I'll throw 'em on there.  Just give me a holla.


Oh, and tell me what you think of the new graphics, because I'm a first-chair attention whore.  'Kay, thanks.

Look guys, I think we could really make something of this site.  We seem to be generating a surprising amount of interest, especially given the fact that we became searchable on Yahoo and Google just a couple of months ago.  Until then, very few people even knew we existed. 


We've already had about 5,000 hits so far, just to the site alone.  That's not counting this message board... that's just the website!!  We have some really cool stuff to offer Nicaholics, but I think we need to pool together and keep it going.  What do you think?

Oh, I must have read it wrong or something i thought it said you want to do a biography but make it sexy.  Now that i read it again you said the format of it.  OH OK I finally got to find it and see the new format, its cool! You must have worked hard on it.

HOLY ****!!  I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON, BUT YESTERDAY WE GOT 169 PAGE VIEWS, AND TODAY WE GOT 85!!  WHA.....?


I mean, I knew it was going to go up a bit because we were all visiting, but GODDAMN!  I didn't think it was going to explode like THAT!!  Up until now, we've been getting from 6 to 14 visitors a day... they just kind of trickle in.  Now I'm getting hit with this amazing amount of traffic, and it's blowing me away!


Dollar to a donut says PayPal still won't get a penny.

Hey "D", the graphics are just awesome!! My favorite part is the Nic pic with the beautiful sky and the "Hollywood" sign in the background! That is just killer. Everything looks really hot! Keep up the fantastic job! And yes, you are our "Goddess"
