Apricot Rice Pudding

1/4 cup uncooked brown rice

3 tblsp cornstarch

3/8 cup water

2(1lb.)cans apricot halves in juice, drained

2 cups milk (approx.)

3/8 sugar

1 tblsp vanilla extract

1 tsp almond extract

Have a 1qt. shallow bowl handy. Put rice in blender, blending until fine. Pour into small bowl, add cornstarch & water, stir to dissolve. Pour apricots in blender, and blend until smooth. Add just enough milk to apricots in blender to total 4 cups (approximately 2 cups of milk.). Pour rice mixture & apricot mixture into a small sauce pan & add sugar. Cook on low heat until rice is tender. (This varies depending on how fine you grinded the rice.) Remove from heat & stir in extracts. Cool at room temperature for 1/2 hour, then refrigerate. Serve when cold.

How much hamburger?  Do you just go with whatever looks right/sounds good?  I have recipes like that... I can't explain to someone how I made it, but I know it works.

LMAO.  I don't think that would be too tasty.  White almond bark is just a fancy name for white chocolate.  I really don't think there's any difference.  You can find it in the baking goods aisle of almost any grocery store.

It's the stuff in hard blocks you melt to dip pretzels in.  You can find vanilla or almond flavors.  I like to put peanut butter between Ritz crackers and dip into almond bark too.
