My understanding is that Nic chose his stage name not only from the comic book hero Luke Cage, but from the composer John Cage.  Just discovered this man is an intriguing, avant-garde artist who explores philosophical musings through music - or lack thereof.  He is the one responsible for "4'33", the "song" that is comprised of 4 minutes and 33 seconds of complete silence.  Here is his new work:

Damn I'm such a sped when it comes to this kind of music! LOL! But yeah I've read that he derived hsi name from him. Atleast I know that much hey!? LOL!

I had never even heard of him until Nic, and even then I didn't know of anything he had written.  I only found out about this from the front page of Yahoo.
