I don't make "resolutions", per se... rather, I create a list of things I want to get accomplished sometime in the next year. The list always has at least 100 things, and the last digit corresponds with the year. So the new list for 2006 will have 106 items on it. Most of them are little things, like reading a particular book or finishing a small project, but others are big (starting a charity fund, laying tile in the bathroom, etc.).
I also clean out my Uncalendar and set it up for the new year. I clean my house and car too. Can you tell I'm really into New Year's Day? LOL.

Do you make any? I don't make "resolutions", per se... rather, I create a list of things I want to get accomplished sometime in the next year. I've never made any myself so maybe I'll start off this year by doing so.
I used to make resolutions, but ended up not really keeping up with them. So now I don't. I just try to have a positive attitude and hope that I can try to accomplish more in the New Year than I did in the last one.
Usually I try to do something to further making more money in the area of employment. (this is very important to me). The rest I just hope for the best.....lol.(like improving my home etc) This will come when I make more money....lol.

Make sure to eat your black eyed peas on New Year's Day. They keep you from going broke that year.

I also make a list of things I want to accomplish, update my new calendar with birthdays (and I need all of yours by the way), and begin to clean out the nooks and crannies that stuff is forgotten in.
I try to de-clutter my life in any little way possible each year. And that is tough when you live with a pack-rat. Here's how I talk to myself (and the pack-rat): "Are you so selfish that you want to keep this item stored in your closet doing nothing when someone out there really needs it to survive?" It's a major guilt trip and it works.
OMG! I wish I hadn't read that Sinclaire. Geeeeeezzzzzz, I have to be the biggest "pack rat" of the whole gang.LMAO. I probably have enough clothes to dress all of us in here a couple of times over, and I still continue to shop the sales going on right now.
That is such a wonderful sentiment, but YES, I am that selfish. I guess because we were so poor when I was in school that I had to wear the same 2 dresses over and over again, that I am a "horder" now. I'm sorry, forgive me for my transgressions, but I am a "clothes horse". I wish I had your strength!!!!
