I work hard at trying to make everyone's dreams come true. I know I said I would have ch 3 of "The Festival", but then I got caught up with looking for work and then had dinner at my parents' house. So I will have to finish it tomorrow. It's almost done, though.
BTW, I am considering taking a job as a waitress somewhere until I get full-time work in the kind of job I want. I will keep the waitress job when that happens, as second income. Hopefully I won't need to do this for long, as I'm pretty sure I'm getting hired back by my old employer (the mortgage company). Nothing is written in stone, though.

No hurry D! Finding your ass a job is more important! Have you ever waitressed before?
Yes, years ago... and I greatly enjoyed it. In fact, I would honestly say that I enjoyed it just as much if not more than a sit-down office job. However, most people see an office/computer type job as being more "respectable", especially for a woman who's almost 34 years old and college-educated. My parents would be included in this... oddly enough, they both come from blue-collar backgrounds.

Well I'm sticking with my "It's better to do something you love that pays nothing then to get paid top dollar doing something you hate!" idea.
I'm hoping the fact that I haven't done it in awhile won't get in my way. IHOP is definitely hiring, but it's only for the night shift. I'm not too keen on that idea. Also, I just don't care for IHOP in general. There are a couple of other places around here that I do like (PF Chang's, TGIFriday's) that I think are also hiring... at least they gave me an application and said to turn it in between 2-4 any day this week, so we'll see how that goes.

Good luck D! Working nights is good for tips though.
I thought about that. And, you know, a lot of cops hang out in those kinds of places too. Gotta love those men in uniform, yup-yup.
I just don't want it to interfere with my daytime job search, you know? I don't want it to be a situation where I'm working there at night, then suddenly get called in for an interview at 9 am and I'm dog-ass tired. When I find a full-time job, I'll be keeping the waitressing job but only working part-time, like evenings and weekends or something like that.

Yeah I hear ya. That's one thing that sucks about working nights is that you have no day life at all! I worked a second shift once & found myself sleeping till noon everyday! Not exactly easy when you have little ones!
Oh I forgot to mention that I read the third chapter of The Festival last night & loved it D!! This one is turning out to be really awesome. I can feel the "tension" building.
Thanks! I am trying to work towards that... the tension. I was afraid maybe I didn't make that chapter long enough, but I was trying to hold back a bit.

Oh don't hold back D! You know how everyone likes their smut! LMAO!
Well, OK, I guess I can go ahead and reveal this... "Dave's Farewell" is going to be VERY smutty... I think it will shock some people just how bad it will get.

Is the doo-dah dangling in limbo? LMAO. Don't worry, she'll get another shot at horndog Dave.

Awesome D! I was so happy to come back to so many new chapters to read! I was like Christmas! LOL! But ofcourse I'm dying for more! LOL! Dave's Farewell is really starting to get interesting!
Thanks (blushing). I know that "Dave's Farewell" is not to everyone's liking... it's a different kind of story, and a complete departure from what I normally do. Whoever doesn't like it will skip over it, like fried livers at the Golden Corral on Tuesday nights.

BTW, Ch 12 of "Castor" is up. I'm working on Chapter 13... will probably also be released tonight. DAMN, this story is WAAAAAAAAAAAY longer than I ever thought it would be.

OK, is it just me, or is "Castor Troy" turning out to be one of the longest damn fan fiction stories on earth? This sucker is INSANE, and I've still got at least two more chapters to kick out, maybe three!!!

You can't make a story like this short and choppy... it has to flow. I can't leave anything out.
As a matter of fact, once I'm finished I might add even more - the final draft will be the one I'll send out to anyone who wants it.
