THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST FILMS I HAVE SEEN IN A LONG, LONG TIME!!
Cool story, great effects and action, and Nicolas was fine as all get out.... those broad shoulders, those smouldering eyes, that adorable bubblegum lip pouting seductively, and of course those TIGHT LEATHER PANTS. My goodness, he is BEAUTIFUL. And Sinclaire, you'll be happy to know that he doesn't have any chest hair in this one... he's ripped, hairless and ready for action, bay-bee!!!
Very, very nice overall... I give it an enthusiastic two thumbs up.

Oh, but Eva Mendes can't act worth a damn. She knows three emotions... annoyance, petulance and... oh.... I was gonna say "annoyance", but then I realized that I'd already said that.
At any point in the story where her character would have been passing a BRICK out of fear (Johnny turns into a flaming skeleton, demons are flying through the air all around her, etc.), she shows no fear at all. NONE. It was bizarre. Not impressed with Eva Mendes.

I saw it again, once Friday, once Saturday! He was so good. hes very good in it and i know that it will get him lots of New Fans. hes so hot! Didn't you just love also when he wore the white tight outfit for when he rode the motorcycle ? I can't wait now to see his next movies, which I think is Grindhouse and then Next. Also, I will definitly own the DVD of Ghost Rider when that comes out, too. I also thought that the guy that played the young Johnny Blaze was very cute.
I am so giddy over just thinking about that movie. This role definitely forced him to bring back his sexual energy... he was AMAZING.
And I am shocked at how SLIM he was!!! Did you see him in that racing suit, where he's wearing the shades and talking to himself in the mirror? DAMN... I think he's achieved the "snake waist" thing.
Look at this picture taken before he became so slim...
There's no way he could have gotten away with wearing that suit on film.

I also loved the way they made Johnny Blaze so funny and ironic... he does these death-defying stunts with helicopters and fire, and then when he's finished he eats jelly beans, watches The Discovery Channel and listens to The Carpenters. LMAO. That was CLASSIC!!!!

This is also the biggest opening weekend gross he's ever achieved, beating $35 mil for "National Treasure". I'M SO HAPPY!!! He's been needing this for a long time, especially after "The Weather Man", "Lord of War", "World Trade Center" and "The Wicker Man" flopped (relatively speaking) at the box office.
