MORE proof she's a GOLDDIGGER!

My dad came home today with new gossip. Seems Ms. Sushi has bought HERSELF a $38,000 Vacheron Constantin watch!!!!!! I guess I shouldn't be TOO surprised coming from someone who spent $2000 on a bathing suit!!!!!! God when he is going to wake up?????

OK, I know this sounds cheesy and lame, but honestly, I would have so much fun just hanging out on the set of whatever movie he was making that I would have no interest in shopping.  Watching a movie being made would be so much more interesting, I think... and I would love to have the opportunity to support him.  But, wait, I'm not a tiny little Korean girl so I don't count, I guess.  Sorry, my bad.

I'd love to watch him act, too.   To watch in person would be great.  If he were my husband, having him to talk with and share thoughts with would mean so much more than material items. He seems like he would just be so very interesting of a person..

As lame as this sounds, it would even be really cool to just know him as a friend.  I agree, he does seem terribly fascinating, doesn't he?  I especially liked his comment in that interview (the one you posted recently) about how he loves to create things, because I'm the same way.  I would much rather create than sit back and watch... I love to write, but don't read that much, for example.

I'm with you, but that kind of money for a watch is probably normal for people in his field.  Makes my stomach crawl, but that's just me.

That money could have been used for something far more important, I think.  Besides, it's just too much to pay for a watch.  I don't care who made it, what's it made of or whether or not they can afford it... it's just a WATCH!  Harry Hines is having a huge sale this weekend, and everything is 50% off... you can get lots and lots of cute watches that do exactly the same thing - they TELL TIME.

What a great point "D"!! Exactly! Doing that is just a way for some folks to rub it in on others that they are able to spend money like that. Now to me, $38,000.00 would pay off my mortgage and still have enough to buy new furniture. We all have our priorities I guess. So much for her doing something chariable for those less fortunate. Especially someone who should still remember where she came from!!!

Actually Ava no he wouldn't do that. He's always been very generous with the money regardless how pissed off he gets. She is taking full advantage of the situation too. Just because your hubby has mega bucks doesn't mean you should **** it all away!!!!

Well, I know it's been said before, but I think it bears repeating...

If I were his woman, I would also be interested in something he keeps in his pants, but it sure as hell wouldn't be his wallet.  If that makes me low-class, so be it.  Forget material possessions, I'm all about the love!

Yeah. It's called PreNup! And yeah he has one! But he'd still provide for her even after a divorce because of Kal UNLESS he decides he wants custody of him. After all. EVERY pic we've seen of Kal except for one has been with his Dad! I think there's a bond there that not even Ms. Kimchi/Sushi/whatever can break. Just my opinion of course too!

That would require she give a sh*t about others more than herself.  We've all thought she should be doing something constructive with her life of luxury, but yet to see anything civic/social come from her.  See a lot of bling and snobbiness.  But Nic may like that in his women, I don't know.  Doesn't seem right, but weirder things have happened.

this was on some link today

"Nicolas Cage paid $38,000 US for a Vacheron Constantin watch for his wife Alice Kim, says the New York Post, "as a belated second-anniversary present.''

What a loser. If he hadn't forgotten, he probably could have got away with a dozen roses"

He forgot about their second anniversary?  Huh.  That's not exactly what I would call a romantic gift.  I could think of other things I would rather have that would cost no money at all.  But hey, I'm just a simpleton from Oklahoma who knows no better.

This is very interesting.  Why would it take so long to get her gift for it to be considered a Belated gift?  AVA, do you have the link to that New York Post article??

OMFG I guess he really forgot it  because anniversary is probably NOT important to him lol so he bought her that very expensive watch to get the peace of mind ...because she I am sure was whining about " You forgot the wedding anniversary boooooo" So he did buy her that jewel for her to shut her mouth !!!!

I think that's kind of funny, but also really sad.  If my husband forgot our anniversary, I would be eight kinds of pissed.

Thank you for the article but it does not make sense to me. How could he be living with someone but forget that? And then its over a month later now. Its too weird.
