Any Bully premiere in Los Angeles

I just read on seeing stars that The Ant Bully is having a premiere in Los Angeles at Grauman's Theatre on Sunday July 23rd and that it may be a daytime event. Ella, do you know anything about this?  I can't go, but Ella since you are nearby maybe you can try to go if you are in the area that day.  Maybe Nicolas will go to it and you can get a picture if possible.

Probably since it's a "kiddie film" they will be having the premier in the day. If Nic's in town, I imagine he would show up as well. Get's the ball rolling for the other films coming out to be promoted.

I'll try to go. But I can't promise. Those things are such a bore and overcrowded. I probably wouldn't even get within an inch of him.

in the newest Readers Digest there is an article where Nick says he isn't going to the premiere of World Trade Centers.  i find that very strange.

I don't find this strange at all. This movie isn't about being a big blockbuster hit. It's a personal tragedy story. And not something to walk a red carpet over. He knew that going in on this project. Kudos to him for that too.

what i find strange is that Nick is such a professional and to me its part of the job to promote the movie

I think he should be doing the rounds as a personal testimony on how the film affected him.

exactly my thoughts.  to not do the premiere seems like hes not backing up the movie and what it stands for.  i wonder if he'll be doing any press for the movie?

If I were an actor, I'd want to make my thoughts on the World Trade center and why I thought it important to do the movie at the premiere to the press and to give love to the families of the victims.

I absolutely agree with you Patty   , if he don't show up to that Premiere  WTC movie ...he will do a huge mistake ..a huge one !!!

What is his problem ??? Does he starts to play in movies just for $$$$$$ ? Or because it makes him be away from home ? lol ...if so he should left the waitress at home !

I would think he'd want to reassure the families how sincere he was in making this movie and his beliefs in their sorrowed hearts.

exactly!  i would think they could have a very subdued type Premiere in NYC, dress down, not alot of glamour and speak from the heart about why they made this movie in the first place.  to not show up really bothers me.  to me its like a slap in the face of all those who were lost saying I'll take the money for the job but i won't back the movie or the subject material.

I really hope he will be there for the families and I hope he accepted  to be in the movie for the good reason ( Me and my family lost a relative in a tower ...so ! ) if HE don't show up ...well he is ....xxxxx sorry !
