That is freaky! I didn't know he was into all that New Age crap. I thought he was into kabala? Not sure where I read that but I guess if he's married into the asian culture he probably isn't what he used to be. If it makes him happy then he should go to this house and soak up all the extra happy vibes available!!!! I wonder if he's going there this summer?????

I am sure the entire Asian family of SushiMissWaitress did brain wash him very well that he lost it ! They knows he have all kind of money ..maybe we will hear someday he is a patient in a crazy people hospital ..ooops , sorrry ! I cannot believe he is that naive ! He is so deceptive !

Maybe I'm weird, but I think some of that is kind cool. I think some of the new age stuff is interesting and cool.

He's always been into New Age stuff, way before his current wife. And her culture isn't New Age, it's ancient ways, like one of the oldest.

I think it's way cool....but if he's so "content" with her, why does he need a property to get rid of negative vibes? Sounds to me like he needs an escape.

I thought that I should comment being all of the talk on this board about divorce and Nick Cage being unhappy. First of all even if there is a prenup agreement, it does not usually cover anything purchased After marriage. Purchases after marriage are usually divided in half after a divorce. Nick Cage seems to be purchasing a lot of property AFTER his marriage. Wouldn't that mean he plans on staying with his wife, because otherwise it would have to be split. I would not think he would purchase so much property if he were planning a divorce. Also, if he needs to recouperate and is so stressed and unhappy as stated here, is it possible that it is for another reason like maybe he does not feel well or is actually tired. Isn't it possible that his wife actually cares for him and he cares for her. As far as her spending money as I've seen stated, I doubt he cares about that. Doesn't he spend money, too? I doubt that is a big deal to him. So where did the divorce talk come from on this website?

From the correlation and timing of his downturn in health and his marriage. If he looked thrilled and healthy we wouldn't ponder the idea.

I don't think he'll divorce her anyway.

Nicolas is a very compulsive person. He sees something he likes, he buys it. Many people are that way. They're not always thinking, "Oh, but I might divorce her someday and then I'll have to split this up with her" or "I know we'll NEVER get divorced, so it's safe to buy this". They just... buy stuff. Humans are all about instant gratification, and Nic is no exception.

Just from our observances, nothing factual. See how healthy he was doing Nat. Treas when they first met.....then the decrease in smiles to now furrowed eyebrows and frowns, skin glow to a grey-ish lack of life, healthy weight and muscles to dramatic gaunt skinny. In 3 years he has aged 20.

He also used to portray confidence (whether he really had it or not), but now he's wallpaper and it really shows in his acting too, IMHO. What is coming out of his mouth isn't matching what his body is saying.

This is yet another reason why NOONE IN THIS GROUP has ANY respect for wife number 3!!!!!! Would you think a loving caring wife would watch her husband waste away in front of her eyes if she was really a good person????

I will tell you what my father thinks(and this time I won't tell him what I said!!!). He says that Nic is very VERY VERY unhappy. That he didn't go into this marriage in his right mind. That he has horrific guilt over something else before the marriage. My father also believes something that his friend a doctor told him that Nic suffers from chronic insomnia and depression which can make you look way older than you really are AND can ALSO cause stress and tiredness.

So he's working all the time. He's putting his money into investments left and right. He's traveling everywhere he can. He's full speed ahead. So we can either expect a complete and totally nervous breakdown or we can hope he'll stop and do what's right for him for A CHANGE! He needs to stop worrying so much about what people think where his personal life is concerned and get done what needs to get done. THEN MAYBE HE'LL BE HAPPY! Eat a Big Mac already! Needs more strength to carry around that 10 incher!!!!!:

He really should you know? I mean he seems to me like he worries about his mom and her bad health and yet he doesn't take care of his own mental status. Or he just assumes that staying busy will postpone the inevitable. His family is of no help either. I mean he is really close to his uncle Francis and his kids but he and Christopher his brother are like oil and water. Christopher is more pissed at him than anything and has never been very supportive. He's such a bitch! And the other brother lives in NY so he never sees him unless he goes there. I do know that nobody in his family is supportive of THIS marriage either. They may have said they were in the beginning but it has caused more problems than anyone knows. And family was always something important to Nicolas. Now I guess he just settles and muddles through.

1- He sure torture himself about his mom 's health( understandable )

If this is true, then I'm the woman who can make him happy I just know I am, LOL. I'm available to travel around with him if that's what he desires... but if he doesn't want that, I'm independent and busy enough to keep myself out of trouble at home. I won't take advantage of him or waste his money, I can cook and give great massages... oh, and I have big boobies. LOLOLOLOLOL.

Actually, I would be tickled pink if I knew Nic's camp had sent you over here, because that would mean we've been NOTICED. We are all about the attention, don't you know?

I haven't seen the new Superman flick yet, but I've heard good things about it. I've been so busy with other stuff that I haven't had the chance yet. I just took up a new hobby (competitive shooting - air pistol, mostly, but also handguns) and am thinking about doing other things too. For some reason, I'm experiencing a weird creative surge right now.

I haven't been to CageFactor in ages... for some reason I got the distinct feeling that I was not that welcome there, LOL.

I don't think I'll see the WTC movie because if I do, I'll start bawling. I don't want to cry in public. I might rent it or even buy the DVD, and then I can cry alone

Did Nic actually say he was happy? Used that term? Because he distinctly said in an earlier interview that happy was a strong word and that he was very content. Personally, if I was his wife and he said that in an interview, I'd be pissed. And this wasn't long after they got married, but before Kal.

Sinclaire, I really don't remember if the actual word "happy" was used or not. But when I read the interview, it pretty much stated how he likes this marriage and she is his angel and "the one" or something like that. I can't remember the exact words, maybe i can look for the article.
