I've been made aware of the fact that certain posters have left because of negativity floating around here.  There were no names mentioned, but I'm certain I'm at least partially to blame.

Look, I'm not going to sell myself off as Little Miss Strawberry Shortcake Sunshine and be giddy with happiness over the state of affairs in my love life or anyone else's... but that doesn't mean I have to act like an immature, petulant, lovesick little freak either.  I'm not about to boil anyone's bunny over the fact that the man of our dreams (Hi Nic... I know you are reading this) is nothing BUT a dream and can't be had by any of us.  At least, I'm not going to make myself seem that way anymore.  And that means I'm not going to talk **** about Alice anymore either.  I know I did it to get a reaction, and also because I was jealous (hell, I still am... can you blame me?  Really?), but I'm making a promise to myself and all of you that it's not happening anymore.  I don't want to disrepect Nic or his wife, because he means a lot to us... as cheesy as that sounds.

I'm not telling anyone what to do.  I'm just saying how I feel about myself and my actions.  It was crappy and infantile, plain and simple.  This board is still about freedom of speech, but I'm moving on to a new level of maturity and don't want to cling to the negative vibes anymore.
