Nicolas Cage to star in Pang brothers' remake of Bangkok Dangerous Published: Sunday, May 28, 2006 Nicolas Cage will star in the Hollywood remake of the Hong Kong-born Pang brothers' 1999 gangster thriller Bangkok Dangerous, a newspaper reported Sunday.
The twin brothers - Oxide and Danny Pang - will direct the remake and are to start shooting in Bangkok in August, the South China Morning Post reported. The brothers will inject new elements into the remake and may also cast Thai, South Korean and Hong Kong actors, Oxide Pang was quoted as saying at the Cannes Film Festival.
The Post quoted Danny Pang as saying Cage's character will speak, unlike the mute assassin seen in Bangkok Dangerous. Although born in Hong Kong, the Pang brothers enjoyed early success in Thailand. Among their other credits is the horror film The Eye.

He deserves happiness, after all the happiness he's given his fans. If he has it now, then that's wonderful. I don't know either of them personally, so I can only go by whatI see... and they're still together and he's doing his thing, so it's all good. Baby Kal-El is doubly loved too, and that makes it even better.
