FYI, I'm about halfway through the 4th chapter. I'm trying really hard to get caught up on all these stories, all the time wondering if maybe I've bit off more than I can conceivably chew.

It's too bad you have to work for a living. I know if we could we would pay you to right stories of Nic and US!!!! I hope someday you will sell your stories. That would be just the coolest! And more folks could enjoy them too.
Thanks, Cheri. If I could get paid to write this stuff, I would. But, you know, I can't even give this stuff away. I've submitted it to different fan fiction websites, and not one of them has shown any interest. Perhaps my writing only appeals to those who are already into Nic.

Danny hasn't had the chance to do chit! The boy has taken on more then he can chew. He is actually replacing my Mom's entire roof all by HIMSELF!!! And in his spare time replacing both his brothers fences that got blown down from the hurricane. Not to mention the list of things I want done at our house.
He got a new computer just yesterday and in the evenings he is setting it up for his new business he started. So he gets up early and stays up late. I am living with a walking zombie!.....lol. Not much of anything else is going on either.
But I always had planned on sharing your stories with him. I have printed out "Festival" for him. Guess I need to leave it in the "john" where he might have time to look at it!...lol. Sorry Trace

Hey, while we're on the subject of spelling, I've always been curious about something... I've noticed you spell the "s-word" as "chit". Is that a Florida/Southern thing? I've never seen it before, so I was wondering... or do you do that so you won't be censored with a bunch of asterisks? LOL.

I think "chit" might just be a eastern thing since I've heard it all my life here too.

Thanks Linda, but Danny is like a man on fire since he has come home. He has alot he wants to get done, and besides, he needs to do some of this stuff before our Hurricane season starts again, which is coming up too fast for my taste.
But he has gotten pretty skinny for my liking. His 32's are hanging off of him. AGAIN, he is favoring how Nic looks, but not the way I like either one of them to be. He doesn't look like that pic I posted when I found him in the kitchen that morning.

It's all the activity. All the stuff he's doing will definately make him lose weight. Your just gonna have to make him eat extra!
He eats really really good. A big b'fast, and he packs a hugh lunch to take to work and eats snacks even during the day. We been grilling ribs and steaks most of the week,or I make a big roast or meatloaf, and of coarse spagetti too. And the boy puts away a thing of ice cream every other nite all by himself. But he has been having alot of crap going on about starting his new business, and he is always busy from early morn until after I go to bed. He works 7 days a wk.
He tells me just a couple more wks and he won't be working every weekend. I hope that happens before the King Tut expo leaves our city. But I am glad that he has ambition and he's just not some slob laying around on the sofa......lol. It is good to finally have help with the bills!!
