I haven't seen you on the boards in awhile... what's going on?
I'm o.k. D. I've been having a sh!tty week is all. V-day, I was fine until I got to work & had to hear all the guys talking about what they bought & where they were taking their wives/girlfriends. That's why I've always hated that holiday! Even when I was with someone it was always a bummer! Last year my ex decided to take off & not come home till the next day and this year I'm alone. AGAIN! So I guess, in a sense, It wasn't as bad as last year. Oh whatever! I still hate that holiday and am glad it's over! LOL!
My birthday was o.k. My babysitter who I've known forever & who is like a second mom to me made dinner (stuffed shells) and a cake. But this is my first b-day without my mom, so that was hard.
And I have a guy at work that's really pissing me off! Yesterday he grabbed my ass & tried to kiss me. I REALLY don't like him and if that ain't enough, he has a wife(one of them that was talking about what he bought her for v-day)and an 18 month old son! WTF!??? I told him to stop and so far he's listening. He didn't talk to me all day today which is fine by me!

I'm sorry to hear that you had a ****ty V-Day. I did too. And it's always worse when you go to work or talk with friends or even hear people calling in to radio shows about how they had such a great day, how they got all this attention and love and it was sooooooooo romantic. One of the girls I work with said her boyfriend came by her house while she was at work and cooked dinner, with a bottle of champagne and a dozen red roses. But that wasn't the gift... she got a HUGE armoire for her jewelry, a love poem and a really cute pink jogging suit. Oh, and chocolate, chocolate, chocolate. All these women, in every office I've been in so far, have roses, stuffed animals, balloons, etc. from their boyfriends and husbands. It seems that everyone around me is married or has a boyfriend, or someone who WANTS to be their boyfriend.
As for the guy at work... are you gonna turn him in for sexual harassment? That's what I would do.

Do you think Perfect hasn't been here lately because she lives in the Northeast and a lot of people there have lost power because of the snowstorms? That's what I'm thinking.

I'm here D!!! I'm SO sorry that I had you worried. I just haven't been myself lately. I think V-day just started the "snowball" effect of bad luck for me. I might be getting laid off from my job soon. It really has me stressed out because even though I don't make alot, I love my job! My boss is trying desperately to keep us in work, but we're just running out. The bigger bosses just went to a show this past week in Vegas where they buy & sell clothing so me & a bunch of other women are really hoping they did well. So far no word. It really sucks not knowing already!

Just got done talking with her... she's fine. It's been really chaotic around the house, what with her remodeling, getting ready to go back to school, etc. She said she might jump on the boards again tonight.

Here I am! LOL! I wanted to get on last night, but the damn board wouldn't let me! WTF!? Anyways, I started school on Monday & boy is it tough! As soon as I got there I already had a presentation, a research paper, & a speech to write! HOLY SHIT! I have time on the presentation & the research paper, but the speech has to be ready by Monday. I'm so nervous too. When it comes to public speaking, I'd rather not know anything! LOL! I had my first test yesterday and I was completely unprepared! I think I did o.k. though. It was for my business law class. That sh!t is hard! I can't believe all the different types of courts there are!
Aside from school, I've really been trying to get this house together. Last weekend I painted & hung border in Tommy & Tyler's room. It looks alot better now. My room is next! I'm not really looking forward to that, because the room is huge with a walk in closet. It all has to be repainted. I'm thinking about doing it in either a shade of purple or burgandy. I haven't decided yet. If i can, maybe I'll do some before & after shots for yas.
