This might be a pretty good flick... still haven't seen the original, though. It's hard to find.
DAMN, he's cute. When I see these pics, I realize that I'm just not worthy of them. I am especially feeling that middle picture, of him in his famous leather. That look really does suit him. Of course, I love all the pics just because he's smokin' HOT.

I haven't seen it either. They're making a pretty big deal of this remake though. Lawsuits and all!! WTF!?
But anyways, yeah it's real nice to see him in leather once again. Sure as hell beats that brown suit!

Based on what I understand of the original, he dies in the end (now keep in mind that this new version is supposed to be somewhat different). for one thing, Sgt. Howie is supposed to be devoutly religious... and a VIRGIN. Oh, yeah. Nic is a great actor, but I'm not so sure he could pull that one off.
Before I take on such a task, I need to get my hands on the original version and see it for myself. I can't believe it's so hard to find in movie rental places! I've been to several all over town, and none of them have it... some of these people have never even HEARD of it.

Good point... I'm sure this part of the storyline has been altered. Nic's a good actor, but not THAT good. He couldn't convince people he's a virgin no matter how much he tried.

I pretty sure we watched that scene a few times, like 20 in a row. I'm not saying he was convincing but I just liked hearing him say the words and watching his body move. Oh yeah, the shower scene was rolled back in very slow mo many a time!!
We watched a lot of freaky Nic scenes that weekend... there was the key scenes is "City of Angels", the scene in "Windtalkers" when he was running along the beach, and also the scene when he's getting the hearing test and he does that cute smile thing... and you can't forget pretty much the first 45 minutes of "Face/Off". And of course, "Zandalee", although I do wish he had worn his hair short for that one. You know, if you could take his look from "Face/Off" and apply it to his character in "Zandalee", we would have had it made.
Damn, that was a fun weekend!
