What??? Did we hear from "his people"????? I thought we were allowed to air our feelings here. It is obvious we hold HIM in high esteem or this site wouldn't exist.

Something has happened girls. Just a tad out of my league as well. As much as it kills me, I had to delete many many posts as a result. Ella as well. Apparently freedom of speech holds no existance ANY WHERE! Or perhaps a nerve was struck. Who knows!

More important to me though than this ****ing board or the man who made it come to be, is it's members! So in saying that, I guess we will have to "behave". Publicly anyways.

I'd also like to add that this situation is royally FUCKED because if I've learned anything over the past 8 years of being a fan, it's that Nic has quite a colorful following! I've lurked around tons of fan sites & have even spoke with many fellow fans. Fans of many different personalities & opinions! Whether we like it or not(as fans of his) we are in our "own little world". Let's face it, he's not an Orlando Bloom or someone else claiming the title of "Sexiest Man". Most women cringe when they hear Nicolas Cage & hottie in the same sentence! So what is it about him that has us & the rest of his small following so intrigued? Well for me personally, I (aside from seeing him as the sexiest man) believe that this little fan base of his consists of many "outsiders", me included. From what I know & what i've observed these are the type of people who would be leaving their house to make a late night run to the corner store, have a loved one say "watch out for weirdos", only for them to turn & say with a sly smirk, "I AM the weirdos"! Then turn around and leave feeling a sense of pride in that fact!  

Anyways, I don't want anyone to feel bad for what they have said here even though the posts are now gone. Believe me nothing that was said here is anything that wasn't said elsewhere publicly or not! I know there are other sites that like to uphold the "goody, goody" image and that's fine. I guess from now on we'll be following suit. So in saying that, let me plaster on a plastic smile & join Ella in a public apology and a promise that no more negativity will grace this forum!

I'm quite proud to be one of the "weirdos" who stands out from the crowd... I've never went in for the standard, garden-variety, cookie cutter "hotties".  They do nothing for me... they're bland, plastic, common.  Nicolas is uniquely attractive and talented, and I will be fascinated with him forever.

Me either D! There's something more appealing about the person who will admit that they ate cat food as a child & grew up in a dysfunctional family as aposed to the "I had a very happy childhood" type. LOL!

I never ate cat food - although erasers were very appealing to me.  My little brother, on the other hand, sometimes nibbled on Gaines Burgers (the moist dog food shaped like a hamburger patty).

Erasers were a good choice too. I'm not so sure about dog food though. Ha! Listen to the ex catfood eater being selective now! LOL!

just to add to the above comment i made, i too class myself as a so called "weirdo" and a "outsider" its not very often i feel comfortable within my own skin and this is one of the reasons i became such a huge fan of nics because he went out there and did what he had to do even though he is no brad pitt or orlando bloom. who wants to follow the crowd and be the same as everyone else. being different is who we are and being different is better who cares what anyone else thinks. live life girls the way you want to

Now I could see refraining from talking about Alice if it would hurt her feelings, since she never asked to be put in that position.  But to not say anything else about him personally, even things that are sexual but complimentary?  Forget that.

He's a fabulously gifted actor and one of the hardest-working men in Hollywood... but DAMN he is fine as HELL, and I think it should be OK to openly appreciate that on any website or message board.  Nic should be proud of that... it's partially genetics, but he also keeps himself in excellent shape (and enhancing his own natural sex appeal).  Why shouldn't we, as fans, be able to express our admiration for that?  LOL.

I found what Sinclaire was talking about too. I knew I seen it somewhere.
