I thought that living just 3 miles from Dolphin Stadium where the Super bowl was held this year was crazy. The traffic all week was unreal.
But I live literally across the road from The Seminole Hardrock where Anna Nicole Smith just died.When I open my front blinds in the morning it is what is towering out front for my daily view. I have to drive right past it 4 times a day to get to and from my job with the Seminole Tribe. The traffic has been unbelievable and then with the helicopters and all the news media I can't hardly get around to run errands. My daughter was just leaving the Hard Rock that day when they were taking her into the ambulance. The Indians have their annual Pow-Wow going this weekend. It's a big deal tourist attraction.
The hospital they took her to is right by me as well (it's where my daughter was born) and so is the coroner's office that they are holding her remains. The news media is crawling all over.
I also heard the Nic will be hosting the Daytona 500 this coming weekend in Daytona Bch. (3 hrs North of me). I wish I could take a run up there to see what he looks like in person, and if you know who is with him......lol.
I guess with him staying in the Bahamas these days, finally my coast has a good chance of seeing him around these parts. South Beach is only 5 miles south of me. I'll have to listen harder to where he is these days......lol.

You really should try to do the 3 hour drive and see if you can see him at the DAYTONA. I was wanting to come to South Beach this year sometime. Maybe this summer i might try to go there for a vacation if I can. I'd also like to go to Key West sometime.
I forgot that you live in Seminole territory!!! Wow... just... WOW. The whole thing is really sad, but I firmly believe that her lawyer is behind the whole thing. Here's how I think it will play out...
1.) Howard and ANS have been friends for years but have never been romantically linked. In fact, she dated other men while still being in connection with Howard.
2.) ANS gets pregnant, but doesn't want to reveal the name of the father. Howard comes up with the idea of naming himself as the father. She agrees to this, and he draws up some documents for her to sign. However, unbeknownst to her (because she was always drinking or popping some sort of pill at all times), one of those documents would make Howard the sole heir of her property upon her demise. It wouldn't change the general format of the will (that would be too obvious, even to ANS)... it would just amend it.
3.) They ship off to the Bahamas to give birth so his name can be put on birth certificate (in the Bahamas, you don't have to have a DNA test to name a father... it's just whoever the mother says it is).
3.) Shortly afterwards, Howard slips methadone to Daniel, knowing that he's also taking anti-depressants, and bumps him off. He does this because it removes the one person in the picture who could get "HIS" money.
4.) He waits a few months, then conspires with the nurse to bump off ANS. How exactly he did it, I'm not sure... if you go by the autopsy reports, they claim there were no pill fragments in her system. However, there are other ways of drugging someone that don't involve pills (liquids, etc).... and it would be easy to kill ANS with liquid drugs because she has already taken so many in her life that her body has adapted to them and it would be almost impossible to tell what foreign substances are present in her system.

I know it's horrible to speculate on something like this, especially when there's no absolute proof, but it's just too obvious (in my fine little mind)....
HOWARD SHOULD BE TREATED AS A KEY SUSPECT.
* She was running a 105-degree fever all week, and bumped her head in the shower the day before, leaving a gash. But nobody took her to the hospital. Why? What did they have to hide? Did they refrain from taking her in for treatment because they didn't want to be forced to give a DNA sample (which was a court order that she had to honor) or was there something else going on?
* Howard was practically sitting on ANS' lap the past several years but when she died, it was supposedly difficult to locate him, and he wasn't found until several hours later (I was only told this particular fact... I didn't hear it for myself so I could be mistaken).
Have the authorities ruled out suicide? It seems that they have, or rather, it just hasn't been openly mentioned.

I took this just now from my front yard. The white building in the background between my across the street neighbors is the "Seminole Hard Rock". It's lite up at night and looks pretty cool. Plus they have a lot of firework shows for various occassions that we can watch just sitting on our front porch. Not too shabby, huh?

Thanks "CityofAngelsfan", but that's not my house....lol. My house is behind me as I'm standing in the front yard facing the "Hard Rock". Those houses are my neighbors that live on the opposite side of me.
It's been absolutely gorgeous these last fews days, but it just turned dark and started raining a few hours ago. We've been in the 60's in the morns (which is really cool for us) and then later in the day it's been getting in the 70's and 80's. I do feel sorry for those in the colder regions, but don't forget I also live in "Hurricane Alley" where all my belongings can be blown away any hurricane season. I guess it's the price we pay to live here.
And "D" everything you said is so true. They are saying on TV that Howard controlled her and rationed out her drugs to her. Now he is hold up in the Bahamas with her little girl and won't let Anna's Mom even see her. What's up with that???? I have a bad feeling about all this!

He's back in her mansion in the Bahamas (the one she was kicked out of a month ago, because it was just being loaned to her), with the baby. I'm trying to figure out how he managed to get the locks changed and got back in, because the person who loaned it to her was an ex-boyfriend, and he explictly told the press that she was no longer living her and the locks were changed after she left.
This guy is so brazen. He's making it pretty damn obvious that he has executive power over her estate, her child and even over people to whom she was once connected. This is too much power for a lawyer to have... he knows too much and squirms his way into places and situations that should never be touched.
