OK, I really don't like having to say this, but.... he looked AWFUL. Very haggard and unhealthy. I would have never recognized him. That's so sad. He looks nothing like himself. OH. NO. He looks just terrible. My heart is breaking for him. Seriously. He appears to have no life left in him and he's just too thin. He looks at least 10 years older than he is.

I'm not saying that to be a bitch. Seriously. I'm saying that because he just doesn't look like himself. Maybe that's part of the reason why he looked so pissed? When he saw that someone was watching him, he got really angry and went back to the SUV.

He's just not filling out those leather pants like he used to... he's a walking skeleton now, and that stringy wild hair isn't doing him any favors. I really, really hope there's nothing wrong with him health-wise.

I don't get it. I just don't get it.

It's not just his age.... even all the way up to "Lord of War", he was looking FINE AS ALL GET OUT. Natural, healthy hair... color in his cheeks.... meat on his bones. Then he hooks up with.... well, we're not going to say her name, because naming something gives it power. But something is draining the life out of him... like a LEECH. Doesn't anyone outside our circle see this? Doesn't anybody even notice how anemic, haggard and drained he looks? Isn't any of his "handlers" going to say anything to him?

I'm trying to believe that he's doing this for his roles, but honestly... he didn't need to be this thin for "World Trade Center", given the fact that the cop he portrayed was nowhere as thin as him. And it wasn't necessary for "Ghost Rider" either, was it?

I'm going to ditto - that's just not cute, hunky, hot, in any way. People change over the years and this is how he wants to be. I'll still follow his career and such because I respect him.

Mmmm, he was fine not too long ago. His skin was a normal color, his hair was natural... now he's just trippin' out on the whole snake-waisted, midlife crisis thing. Not good.

I think if he would get his hair back to medium brown and cut it, he would look way nicer. Maybe when he films Nat'l treasure 2 that will happen. If he put his hair back to like before he wouldn't look older at all, as his face still looks young. I hope he gets his old self back, he is So cute, that doesn't need to go away because he is 43. (which is still young) I think a good haircut/color would do the job. (oh and i still think the leather pants were nice)

I agree. The hair is a big, big part of it. If he'd go back to his natural color and get it cut, it would make a vast improvement.

Went back and looked at the video again... LMAO. He's all paranoid and ****, and at first he doesn't realize that someone is filming him, and when he DOES realize it, he casually hides behind the tree for a second, then gets all pissed off and gets back in the SUV.

That video was found on www.nicolas-cage.biz but i think they got it from somewhere else and it was from you tube and another website. If someone was doing that to him, he handled it well by just getting back into his vehicle. good for him.

Maybe after the movie Ghost Rider comes out he'll get more popular again. It looks like it might be a popular movie.

Most of the women I know (myself included) don't like men who are too thin. We like men who look like you could put your arms around them and squeeze, and it won't hurt them. 10-20 lbs. would do wonders for him.

thank goodness since this video, that he has lightened and cut his hair, and looks healthy . He looked great in the recent National Treasure 2 filming pictures.
